Hendersonville, TN – Daywind Music Publishing is pleased to announce the signing of Sam Tinnesz to its roster of exclusive songwriters.Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Sam moved to Nashville in 2003 and spent 8 years touring, writing and recording as a member in the 10 time DoveÔ Award-nominated CCM group, MIKESCHAIR.
During his time with MIKESCHAIR, Sam co-wrote the hit singles “Can’t Take Away”, “Someone Worth Dying For,” “All For You,” and “Let the Waters Rise.” “Let the Waters Rise,” which was DoveÔ Award-nominated for Song of the Year in 2010 and 2011, peaked on the Billboard Christian AC Charts at number 7.
Since exiting MIKESCHAIR, Sam continues to actively pursue writing Christian music and has worked with artists such as: Danny Gokey, Anthem Lights, Hyland, Hawk Nelson, Cory Lamb, Jamie Slocum, and Plumb. Sam will be co-producing and co-writing the new Nate Sallie album in late 2012.
